Where possible, the decisions we make are informed and influenced by cutting edge information and data, that is where the Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU) comes in. The team provides rigorous, best in class, economic analysis within the three key areas we focus upon; business, people and place.
This intelligence is used to inform different stages of the policy-making cycle, including: critical assessment of the socioeconomic challenges in the Black Country, evidence-based strategy and policy development; project and programme design, programme management and monitoring and evaluation.
