The Black Country Cornerstone Employer Group are pivotal in ensuring that the Black Country Careers Hub is on track to achieve its objectives in supporting schools with the Gatsby Benchmarks for Careers Education. It also helps ensure schools and colleges are providing meaningful encounters and experiences of the workplace for all pupils throughout their education journey.
A Cornerstone Employer can be a large or small business, a local or national employer, and our ask of them is:
- Dedication to invest time and resources
- To work with other Cornerstone Employers
- A willingness to galvanise business networks to support local initiatives in schools and colleges
- To focus on sustainability and act as an ambassador for the Black Country Careers Hub
