Vote for BIDsmarter – nominated in “Best Consultancy initiative” at Construction Enquirer Awards 2018

We’re pleased to announce that a joint entry by Midland Metro Alliance, in partnership with West Midlands Combined Authority and the Black Country Growth Hub, has been nominated for a coveted 2018 Construction Enquirer Award for our collaborative work aligned to BIDsmarter.

BIDsmarter is a free business improvement and self-assessment app, helping local SMEs gain the right combination of business skills, tools and experience to unlock their potential to work on major procurement projects such as the Midland Metro tram expansion project.

BIDsmarter has been recognised for its innovative work aligned to developing the region’s small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the “Best Consultant” category.

The Construction Enquirer is an online-based construction news outlet specifically aimed at providing up-to-the-minute updates to UK-based construction firms and professionals. The awards are set up to recognise the best construction companies to work for, best initiatives and projects to work on throughout the past year.

Nominees for each of the thirteen categories were announced on Monday 2nd July with BIDsmarter featuring among seventeen candidates selected for this particular category. There is now a public online vote to determine the ‘Top Ten Winners’ as well as, of course the overall category winners.

Public voting for the awards closes on Wednesday 8th August with the Top Ten Winners announced on Monday 13th August.

The Winners will be announced at a prestigious awards evening hosted by celebrity architect, George Clarke, on Tuesday 9th October at Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
