Transport and Infrastructure Campaign Launch event

The Black Country Chamber of Commerce is embarking on an exciting new campaign aimed at supporting businesses to help improve transport and infrastructure across the region.

Taking place on Black Country Day, the Transport & Infrastructure Campaign Launch Event will highlight the key issues that the Chamber is focusing on throughout the campaign, which include:

  • Equal investment in infrastructure;
  • Better usage of the M6 Toll;
  • Greater investment in broadband infrastructure;
  • Support for HGV driver recruitment;
  • Increased capacity for Birmingham Airport.

The event will feature a series of presentations from high-profile speakers, including:

  • Paul Kehoe, Chair, West Midlands Growth Company
  • Laura Shoaf, Managing Director, Transport for West Midlands
  • Andy Pearson, Chief Executive, Midland Expressaway Ltd
