Suppliers urged to board HS2 at Supply Chain Conference

Black Country businesses can find out how to bid for work from the UK’s largest infrastructure programme - HS2 – at a special event next month.

HS2 Ltd is inviting businesses large and small to attend its Supply Chain Conference at the ICC in Birmingham on Tuesday 5 November 2013.

HS2 representatives will set out how businesses will be able to access over £10bn of contracts to help deliver Britain’s new high speed rail network.

The Birmingham Supply Chain Conference will inform companies on how to compete for and, if successful, win work on the largest infrastructure programme in the UK.  Birmingham was selected as the first city to host the events due to its central place in the HS2 network.

HS2 will need suppliers across a broad range of areas as it progresses from planning and design to manufacture and construction.

Businesses can register their interest to attend the event at www.hs2.org.uk/events/supplychainconference

More information about HS2 can be found at www.hs2.org.uk
