Message from the Chair - Tom Westley DL

The team at the Black Country LEP have spent the last few weeks speaking to partners and businesses across the Black Country to assess the very real impact COVID-19 is having on all of us. Based on this feedback and our own experiences we have put together the following guidance and resources which we hope will help.

We are focused on how we can support business now, help them access the right support in the right way to ensure resilience during this uncertain time so that collectively we can ensure the Black Country economy recovers from this unprecedented pandemic.

The primary port of call for businesses is our Growth Hub, our Coronavirus support page will be updated weekly with the latest information and support measures and our team are there to offer free and impartial support.

Beyond this resource the LEP are working with partners across the West Midlands including the West Midlands Combined Authority to ensure a co-ordinated approach to supporting the economy across our whole region.

Regular updates can therefore be found on our websites, through our newsletters and across our social media, please do ensure you are connected to us.

On behalf of the whole Black Country LEP team please do follow the Government’s advice, stay safe and stay at home.
