Invest Black Country to host National Aerospace Supply Chain Conference

We're pleased to tell you that Invest Black Country will play host to some of the world’s biggest aerospace firms on Thursday 21 November as the ADS National Aerospace Conference comes to RAF Cosford, just north west of Wolverhampton.

Organised by ADS (the prestigious trade organisation advancing the UK aerospace, defence, security and space industries) with support from Invest Black Country and the four Black Country councils, this event will give current and prospective suppliers to the UK defence and civil aerospace sector the chance to hear about the latest industry initiatives, supply chain strategies and business opportunities available in the thriving aerospace industry.

Financial support

You can also learn about the financial support on offer to SMEs looking to enter into the aerospace supply chain.

The conference will feature break-out meetings between major aerospace clients (primes) and their tier-one suppliers, as well as a range of networking opportunities throughout the day (including a complimentary buffet lunch).

You will also be given an insight into the industry recognised 21st Century Supply Chains (SC21) initiative, and what it can do for your business.

Exhibition stands

Even better is the news that the region's SMEs have the chance to exhibit at this huge event. If you're interested in showcasing your business, a limited number of exhibition stands are on offer for £50 plus VAT.

The event takes place on Thursday 21 November from 9am to 3pm and the venue has been confirmed as the Royal Air Force Museum, auditorium in the National Cold War Exhibition, RAF Cosford, Wolverhampton WV7 3EX.

If your business is based in the Black Country region, to sign up to attend for free, or for more information, call Steve Massey on 07929 353232 or email
