Giving a helping hand to jobseekers in the West Midlands

To help remove travel barriers to employment Network West Midlands offers jobseekers 50% off travel passes for the first three months of their new role.

Discounted travel is available on bus, train and tram within the West Midlands area.

Applicants also have to meet some basic eligibility criteria to be accepted onto the scheme including:

  1. They need to live in the West Midlands areas, or be registered at a Jobcentre within the area.
  2. They need be currently unemployed, or working less than 16 hours a week and going into employment, working 16 or more hours a week.
