Free Expert Energy Efficiency Audits for Black Country SMEs

Are your energy bills too high?

Do you want to reduce your business energy costs?

As a pilot scheme for the BECCI (Built Environment Climate Change Innovations) project, Andy McDarmaid, Director of Arden Business Solutions, will be providing free one-to-one specialist advice to SMEs in the Black Country, with the aim to improve energy efficiency for commercial businesses. It will be targeted at those within the Built Environment and construction sector.

He will cover the key operational areas of existing business activities which will include:

  • Energy providers & usage – use of smart metres, business tariffs, costs incurred, Economy 7
  • Lighting – electicity consumption and costs
  • Heating – heating and cooling controls, building insulation, draught proofing
  • Operations – equipment energy usuage
  • Vehicles & Transport – fuel efficiency, mileage, costs

Andy has over 20 years of consultancy experience supporting businesses of all sizes, in leading and implementing sustainabiliuty and transport related projects, in both the private and public sectors.
