City Deal ‘Working Together’ – A Celebration of Success

The City Deal ‘Working Together’ project held a Celebration Awards event at Wolverhampton Wanderers Molineux Stadium on Tuesday 18 September 2018 to recognise and celebrate some of the customer achievements from the past 4 years.

City Deal ‘Working Together’ is a pilot project which aims to increase the employability and employment of 2,800 long-term unemployed and economically inactive Black Country social housing tenants, and move 900 of them into work over a three-year delivery period.

Over the past 4 years, the project has achieved 2,865 customer engagements and 500 job outcomes with a sustainability rate of 70%. They have also delivered over 7,000 soft outcomes including digital inclusion, increased confidence, skills and qualifications.
