Black Country Day early evening networking event

The Black Country Growth Hub at the Wolverhampton Business Solutions Centre, in collaboration with the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, invite you to join us for an early evening networking event to celebrate Black Country Day with businesses.

July 14th is official Black Country Day, with the date chosen to mark the region’s industrial heritage. The date is the anniversary of the invention of the World’s first steam engine, the Newcomen Engine, which was built in the Black Country in 1712.

The event will provide an ideal opportunity for local businesses to meet each other in a friendly networking environment and participate in various activities, from business games to competitions. There will also be an exciting chance to view historic images of the Black Country from the Express and Star photo archive project.

Refreshments and a light buffet will be provided, with a menu of typical Black Country foods.

We hope you will be able to join us to expand your business network and celebrate business in the Black Country.

There is no cost to attend but pre-registration is essential here.
