Black Country 5G survey

Have you heard that the West Midlands will be getting 5G technology soon? The region has been selected as the UK's first "testbed" for 5G wireless technology.

Birmingham, Coventry and the Black Country will receive up to £75m in funding to help transform them into 5G "hubs", in a trial expected to pave the way for a full rollout across the UK. The news comes as the industry ramps up its investment in 5G networks, to offer customers higher internet speeds and capacity.

The technology will also open up new opportunities for the growth of emerging technologies across the region.

As a result, the Black Country LEP is conducting a survey to help identify digital innovation / activity which could be utilised as part of a 5G trial. We appreciate that your time is precious, but we would love to learn more about the activity you are engaged in, and how you feel it may be suitable for a 5G trial.

Would you kindly take just a few minutes to complete this short survey of just 10 questions?

As a thank you, by completing the short survey, you will be automatically entered into a free prize draw to win a gift box of chocolates.

The closing date for survey responses is 5pm Friday 12th October 2018.
