Access to Finance

The Black Country LEP is always working to secure funding to make available to its businesses or those seeking to invest here.  Currently there is an ever-changing and potentially confusing array of funds open to businesses with different deadlines and eligibility criteria.

The www.gov.uk website has a searchable list of finance and support for your business. You can keep up to date with changes and additions by following @bcgrowthhub on Twitter, the Black Country LEP’s LinkedIn group, or signing up to receive updates on the homepage of this website.

If you are a developer or your project involves developing land, then please visit www.blackcountrydevelopmentfunding.co.uk for specific options.

The Black Country Growth Hub maintains these lists of grants, loans and equity funding available to businesses in the Black Country via its website

For a tailored response, please complete an initial proposal form using the link below and tell us about your project.

We will review the details in the form and identify the most appropriate options.

We can then direct you to support for you to apply for the appropriate fund.

All grants must be compliant with State Aid rules, details of which can be found here : https://www.gov.uk/state-aid.

"It has become apparent that access to finance can act as a barrier, preventing business growth. The LEP is dedicated to removing barriers to business growth and making the process of securing government funding easier for eligible businesses.” Paul Brown, Chair Black Country LEP Access to Finance Group
